i need help

a) 1+x/3 + x-5/6
b) 1/3x - 2/5y
c) x+1/2 - x-3/3
d) 2(x+y)/x - 3(x-3y)/5x

when adding or subtracting fractions, we need the lowest common denominator

$ \frac{1+x}{3} + \frac{x-5}{6} $

$ \frac{2 + 2x + x - 5}{6} $

$ \frac{3x - 3}{6} $

$ \frac{x -1}{2} $

Please use brackets so that we know what you mean.

Is a supposed to be:

$1+\frac{x}{3} + x-\frac{5}{6}$

or:

$\frac{(1+x)}{3} + \frac{(x-5)}{6}$ ?
