    Cool Prove that the rational function...

    Prove that the rational function y= (ax + b) : (x-a)
    is its own inverse.
    Please help me to solve this question, thanks.

    Solve x= (ay + b) : (y-a) for y.

    You will get y= (ax + b) : (x-a), which was to be shown.
