Math Help - Function continuity?

    Function continuity?

    I need to know whether or not the function f(x) = (x^3 - 2x^2 - 7x) / (x + 5) is infinite discontinuity, jump discontinuity, point discontinuity, or is continuous.

    I think it is infinite discontinuity since there is an asympote is anyone sure? Could they explain?

    Is x+5 a factor of x^3-2x^2-7x~?
