    Question Sides and area of trapezium

    PQRS is a trapezium where PQ is parallel to SR.Given that angle PQR= angle SPR= 90 degree.
    PQ=8.5 cm and PR=12.3 cm,

    Calculate

    a)QR
    b)PS
    c)The area of the trapezium PQRS

    Diagram is given in the attachment

    Cant upload the diagram because the size is too big and it crosses the limit.

    Re: Sides and area of trapezium

    You don't need a diagram. Since the triangle PQR is a right-angle triangle, you can use Pythagoras' Theorem to find the side length QR. Then you have enough information to find the area of the trapezium.
