Thread: Basic Algebra

Hi guys, So I have began on algebra today. I have looked at the basics and understand the start such as

X + 4 = 12
X + 4 -4 = 12 - 4
X = 8

So where do I go from here (I aslo know the other operations, like subtract, multiply and so on, and how to do the opposite)
