Ratio wrod problem
A,B and C shared a sum of money in the ratio 2:3:11

1)If B received $2.50 more than A, how much is the sum of money ? (Here is the question asking for the total money shared between the three or the money shared between A and B ?) 2)C gave$5 to A , find the ratio of A's share to B's share

$\frac AB = \frac23$ ... and ... $B = A+2.5$
That means: $\frac A{A+\frac52}=\frac23~\implies~A=5$
3. If A = 10 then the ratio $\frac AB = \frac{10}{7.5} = \frac43$
