Thread: help simplifying an expression with exponents (I think the may be incorrect)

Below are pictures of the problem in the book and how I simplified it.

(2a^2 b)(-3a^-2 b^3)^2

The books answer is -6b^7. I can't figure out how to get this answer. Is the book wrong? My answer is (18b^7)/a^2. Is my answer correct?
