I am trying to figure out this progression from a book I am reading and not having a lot of luck. A is proportional to B^2.8 A is proportional to B x C^2 Therefore A is proportional to C^3.1

You have to be more clear with your notation: is proportional to is proportional to Therefore is proportional to Is this the exercice?
