I changed the -i to $(i^3)^9^5^4$ is this valid?

Which are you trying to find?

$-i^{954}$ or $(-i)^{954}$

Hi theloser,

Is it, $-\left(i^{954}\right)$ or $\left(-i\right)^{954}$ ? If it is the latter you are correct.
