How do I find the least no. that should be added to 2000 so that 35 divides the sum exactly?

Thanks,

Ron

Re: Division
If I understand correct.

First you have to divide 2000 to 35 then you have to find the remaining quantity from that division which equals to 5 so you have to add (35-5=30) to 2000.
Then you will find 2030. The next exact division of 35 to 2030 is 58.

Normally if it wouldnt be 35 and would be such a number like 12 then the dividend had to have exact division to 6 because in 12, 2 and 3 factors are common.
