# Math Help - Solve equation ...

1. ## Solve equation ...

Hi
I have no clue how to solve this one

1/t-2 - 2/t+2 = 3/t - 2

2. ## Re: Solve equation ...

2. This is not a Differential Equation, as it does not have any derivatives in it. This question should be in Pre-Algebr and Algebra.

[MODERATOR EDIT]: This question has been moved.

Are you saying that you have no idea how to us basic algebra?
$\frac{1}{t-2}-\frac{2}{t+2}-\frac{3}{t}+2=0~?$

4. ## Re: Solve equation ...

I would interpret that as
$\frac{1}{t- 2}- \frac{2}{t+ 2}= \frac{3}{t- 2}$.

Bgggg, multiply on both sides by the "least common denominator", (t-2)(t+2).
