I presume this is
$\frac{2}{x} + \frac{2}{x + 1} = 3$

To get rid of the fractions, multiply both sides by $x(x + 1)$

$x(x + 1) \cdot \left ( \frac{2}{x} + \frac{2}{x + 1} \right ) = x(x + 1) \cdot 3$

$2(x + 1) + 2(x) = 3x(x + 1)$

$2x + 2 + 2x = 3x^2 + 3x$

$4x + 2 = 3x^2 + 3x$

$3x^2 - x - 2 = 0$

Now use the quadratic formula.

\begin{aligned}3x^2-x-2&=0\\3x^2+(2x-3x)-2&=0\\(3x^2-3x)+(2x-2)&=0\\3x(x-1)+2(x-1)&=0\\(x-1)(3x+2)&=0\end{aligned}
