I presume this is
$\displaystyle \frac{2}{x} + \frac{2}{x + 1} = 3$

To get rid of the fractions, multiply both sides by $\displaystyle x(x + 1)$

$\displaystyle x(x + 1) \cdot \left ( \frac{2}{x} + \frac{2}{x + 1} \right ) = x(x + 1) \cdot 3$

$\displaystyle 2(x + 1) + 2(x) = 3x(x + 1)$

$\displaystyle 2x + 2 + 2x = 3x^2 + 3x$

$\displaystyle 4x + 2 = 3x^2 + 3x$

$\displaystyle 3x^2 - x - 2 = 0$
