Vreni raised $250, and this is of the total amount raised.
What is the total amount?

Now the memo tells me the answer is 2600, and it's found by 250 / 5 * 52. But I still don't understand how its worked out. My working is like this:

Concur. This is a direct translation of the (implied) sentence "$250 is 5/52 of the total amount raised." The "is" corresponds to "=", and the word "of" means "*".
