The number 78.5 . . .

**is not****an**Integer because it is not a whole number.

**is a**Rational number because it can be expressed as the ratio of 2 numbers (157/2)

**is not a**Variable because it is a defined constant number.

**is a**Constant because it is defined and unchanging number.

78.5 is a constant because its value doesn't change.

Integers are whole numbers (without decimal point) like -13;35;0;76 and so on.

A variable is something that changes, the temperature of your room, for instance, the speed of a car etc.
