    Dimensions of a greenhouse.

    1. Lindsay decided that because the width of the plastic is 30 feet, the best shape for the greenhouse is a square measuring 9 m x 9 m.

The wall height of the greenhouse will be 9 feet.

    a. Why did Lindsay choose the dimensions 9 metres x 9 metres for the greenhouse instead of 8 metres x 10 metres?

    b. What are the dimensions of the greenhouse in feet?

    c. Determine the length of 30 ft wide plastic needed to cover the greenhouse.

    d. What is the surface area of the greenhouse?
