# Factoring polynomials 6 qs

Factoring polynomials 6 qs
1) 4x^2-24x+20
2) 12p^2+23p+10
3)12x^2-24x-15
4)12x^2+48x+96
5)y^2-7y+6
6)28m^2-5m-3

Can some one help me? So far ive gotten:
1) (x+5) (4x+4)
2) Not factorable
3) Not factorable
4) Not factorable
5) (x-6) (x-1)
6) (m+12) (28m-7)

Im scared cus how can 3 problems be not factorable! Theres definitely a problem!(Doh)

1) (x+5) (4x+4) Mr Fantastic says: Wrong. Expand it and see why.
2) Not factorable Mr Fantastic says: Wrong.
3) Not factorable Mr Fantastic says: Wrong. For starters, 3 is a common factor. The quadratic factor can be factorised.
4) Not factorable Mr Fantastic says: Wrong. 12 is a common factor.
5) (x-6) (x-1) Mr Fantastic says: Wrong pronumeral.
6) (m+12) (28m-7) Mr Fantastic says: Expand it and check for yourself.

Im scared cus how can 3 problems be not factorable! Theres definitely a problem!(Doh)
