    Adding fractions

    Hi

    How can I teach addition of fractions using pies?

    1/2 + 1/3

    Have a third pie in cut into sixths.

    Then you can overlay your 1/2 pie and 1/3 pie on top of the pie cut into six.

    You can even use a diagram. It will be helpful.
