    The first one:

    4a + 5  = 21 + 2a

    (-2a from both sides)

    4a -2a + 5  = 21 +2a - 2a
    2a + 5  = 21

    (-5 from both sides)

    2a = 16

    (divide by 2 on both sides)
    a = \frac{16}{2} = 8

    You try the rest and show us your working if you get stuck.
