    Question help with transposition

    Hi.
    I have a tricky formula transposition. Can anyone confirm my result for me.
    Equation is:-

    B = (F R C/A e r) + (F/A)

    Please make F the subject.

    My result gives
    F = B/(R C/ A e r) - (1/A)

    Problem is that by using this transformation, my result is not correct.

    Please can anyone help???

    I take it that you mean
    B= \frac{FRC}{Aer}+ \frac{F}{A}

    B= \left(\frac{RC}{Aer}+ \frac{1}{A}\right)F= \left(\frac{RC+ er}{Aer}\right)F

    F= \frac{Aer}{RC+ er}B= \frac{ABer}{RC+ er}
