    solve
    2x^2-5x+2=[5-sqrt(9+8x)]/4 where x<5/4

    2x^2-5x+2 = \dfrac{5-\sqrt{9+8x}}{4}

    8x^2-20x+8 = 5 - \sqrt{9+8x}

    8x^2 - 20x+3 = \sqrt{9+8x}

    Square and solve the horrible quartic for x discarding any extraneous solutions
