    1). "If 1 bogus = 15 zing, 42 klang = 25zing, 10 klang = 88 zoot, how many bogus make 1 zoot?"

2)."Find the dimensions of a rectangle whose area is 240cm2 and perimeter is 62cm."

The area of a rectangle is A\,=\,l\,\cdot\,w

The perimeter of a rectangle is P\,=\,2l\,+\,2w

So we know the area is 240.

Using the area equation we get: 240\,=\,l\,\cdot\,w

Also we know the perimeter is 62.

Utilizing the perimeter equation we get: 62\,=\,2l\,+\,2w

    So we have the system:

    240\,=\,l\,\cdot\,w
    62\,=\,2l\,+\,2w

The dimension are l and w. Solve for both using any methods you've learned about systems.

    \frac{1~zoot}{1} \cdot \frac{10~klang}{88~zoot} \cdot \frac{25~zing}{42~klang} \cdot \frac{1~bogus}{15~zing} \approx 0.004509~bogus
