Simplifying Square roots.

Please explain how..

I understand the sqrt of 49 is 7 so you take that out, but where the heck did the sqrt 1/2 in the numerator and 5 in the denominator come from?

Factorize the rdicand:

$\sqrt{\dfrac{49}{50}}= \sqrt{\dfrac{49}{25\cdot 2}}= \sqrt{\dfrac{49\cdot \frac12}{25}}$

Calculate the square-root of 49 and 25.
