    lame question

yes.. one of the lamest questions about math.. and I think I know the answer but..

Say I have an assignment that's worth 30% of my grade mark.

Now the assignment is out of 100 and I got 75, which is 75%. So how much do I have of the 30% for my final mark.. in other words.. would it just be 30 dived by 3/4? meaning I got 20.2 % out of the 30 for my final?

I'm just trying to collect all my marks, so I know if I can pass my english class or not..

    (75)x(30/100) = 22.5
