Hi

The rate of change is represnted in this formula;

y= 3.63+1.22x

However this is over a period of 2 years

What is the annual rate of change?

Solution :

Given The rate of change is represented in this formula;
y= 3.63+1.22x
this is in 2 year
then in 1 year = (3.63+1.22x)/2
the annual rate of change=1.815+0.61x

What exactly do you mean by this? That y is changing in this way? Or that y gives the rate of change of some other quantity?

And what do you mean by this? The rate of change "over a period of two years" does not tell us anything about what the rate of change of any shorter (or longer) period might be.
