    Solving for x

    Hello..

    How to solve this equation for "x". Is it possible ? THX. Wolfram doesn't give answer.

    x^n+x=1

    It depends on "n".

    But you can generally say:
    if n is uneven: there is only 0ne Root since f '(x) always stays positive.
