Solving an exponential equation
Hi all,
I am new to this forum. I've been working on a math problem and I got to the following equation:

$P\gamma-I\gamma = e^{\alpha+\gamma I}$

I want to solve this for I. Can any one help me with it please?

Thank you,

This doesn't have a solution in terms of elementary functions, but see here
