Thread: Im Stuch Help me...

I need to find the value of y in a rectangle. The perimeter is 105m
length which is across ways = 4y
breadth which goes up is y

Note that the length is longer than the breadth.

How would i work this out ?

perimiter is twice length plus twice width, so:

105=8y+2y
