Thread: Algebra 2 summer online school. Give it a shot or not?

Hello guys some of you know me because of my terrible math solving skills ( probably worst earth math solver).

I want to speed up in my math since i might be ( want) a game designer.. But i this requires good math skill. I went to my counselor talked to her and she told me now the Summer school is online and for math is really a bad subject.. Because you are basically your own teacher.

but i talked to her about this forum and some other online resources Like Purplemath , she told me to think it through and here i am asking to know if i should go for it.

You are your greatest enemy not the course. Look at how you are going into this "worst earth math solver." You can't succeed without confidence.

I'm Not putting myself down is just an expression, as in i am very bad at it.
But the truth is i have confidence, and a little motivation.
the hard part will be being my own teacher when i can't solve some problems and when this forum can't help me

I used to never due workout the example problems in the book or read the chapters until I started taking independent studies, but when I started doing that, I could figure most of the missing steps in the example. If you want it (success in this class), you will do what it takes (reading the chapters and doing the examples before the exercises). Also, there is probably a students solutions manual which you may want to invest in.

Sounds Good for me, I will give it my best and i will take the course i still have much time to see .. But I'm doing well in Geometry!
