    Riddle

    A farmer has a total of 33 cows and chickens. Altogether the animals have 90 feet. How many cows and chickens are there?

    Can someone give me the two equations you set up to solve this? Thanks.

    x = number of chickens
    y = number of cows

    x+y = 33
    2x+4y = 90
