    formula

    t is proportional to the square root of d.

    t = 12 when d = 4

    a) What is the formula for t in terms of d?

    Is this correct?

    Square root of d * 6 = t

    b) Calculate the value of t when d = 9

    Is this correct?

    Square root of 9 * 6 = 18

    so the value of t = 18
