    Expanding/Factoring Q. 2

    Sorry, yet another one.

    Is it possible to find the unknown value in the following expression. Explain

    (a+3)(a+__)=a²+10a+6

    No, assume a=-3 then the left hand side is 0 because a+3=0 regardless of what the missing number is it will still have to be zero. Yet, the right side would not.
