    Tough Cubic equation

    16x^3 -13x +3 =0
    Find the real solutions for the equation.
    Answer : -1, 1/4, 3/4

    Hi ozacho,

    Using the Rational Roots Theorem, you can test +/- 1 and +/- 3 as potential roots.

    Using synthetic division with -1, your depressed quadratic would be:

    16x^2-16x+3=0

    You should be able to take it from here.
