    Factoring

    How does one factor 2 - 5(x^-2)?

    The answer is (2x^2 - 5)/x^2 but how do I get that answer?

    That isn't factoring just obtaining the same common denominator.

    \displaystyle \frac{x^2}{x^2}2-\frac{5}{x^2}\rightarrow \frac{2x^2-5}{x^2}
