    One more quick question

    The circumference of a circle varies directly as the diameter. A circular pizza pie with a diameter of 1 foot has a circumference of 3.14 feet. What will be the circumference of a pizza pie with a diameter of 1.5 feet?
    Thank you all for the help i really appreciate it.

    As you stated the proportion of diameter and radius of circles is a constant: \pi. (Even though the question refers to pizze this constant number is definitely not pie but pi )

    Now use the proportion:

    \dfrac{3.14'}{1'} = \dfrac c{1.5'}

    Solve for c (= circumference)
