    hairdryer 1/3 off normal price
    Now only 24.60
    what is the normal price?

    Hello,

    let the normal price be x.

    Then you know

    \frac{2}{3} x =  24.60 . Divide both sides of the equation by \frac{2}{3} to get x:

     x = \frac{ 24.60}{\frac{2}{3}} =  36.90
