If a:b = 5:2 b:c=3:1 find the ratio a:b:c and last 1 a:b=3:4 b:c=3:1 find the ratio a:b:c 5:2 is the same as 15:6 2 for me, 5 for you. 2 for me, 5 for you. 2 for me, 5 for you. 6 for me, 15 for you. 3:1 is the same as 6:2 Therefore a:b is 15:6 and b:c is 6:2 so what is a:b:c ?
a:b:C would be 15:6:2? than lastly 3:4 3:1 9: 12: 4!
Yes, that is correct. All you need to do to get these ratios is to make the letter in common have the same value. For the first problem, b was the letter in common so you make make that letter have the same value without altering the ratios.
