these types of ratios are confusing in the homework, could you guys help me please?
for example. If a:b = 5:2 b:c=3:1
find the ratio a:b:c


and last 1 a:b=3:4 b:c=3:1 find the ratio a:b:c

5:2 is the same as 15:6

Therefore a:b is 15:6 and b:c is 6:2 so what is a:b:c ?

All you need to do to get these ratios is to make the letter in common have the same value. For the first problem, b was the letter in common so you make make that letter have the same value without altering the ratios.
