Math Help - Cant find the right answer

    Cant find the right answer

    solve:

    3(y-6)=2x
    3x+5y=11

    any help would be great appreciated, thanks.
    I keep getitng to 3(y-6)/2 +5y= 11 and then i get it wrong everytime.

    \displaystyle\ x=\frac{3(y-6)}{2}

    3x=\displaystyle\frac{9(y-6)}{2}
