Yes it is. Its not a very practical question. it would be more practical to round to the tens place, hence yielding 50.

Well is you add up and then round 1949, your answer would be 1900. However, I believe it wants you to round each term and then add up. So 1400 + 0 + 500 = 1900. You get the same answer, but its not always the case.
