Perplexing Algebra Equation Word Problem

A very good day to everyone here. I have an algebra word problem:

A bottle $\displaystyle \dfrac{3}{4}$ filled with a liquid weighs $\displaystyle \dfrac{3}{2} kg$. The liquid alone weighs $\displaystyle \dfrac{3}{4} kg$ more than the empty bottle. If the bottle is completely filled, how much will the contents weigh?

So I will let the weight of the empty bottle be $\displaystyle x$.

Then the liquid alone will be $\displaystyle x + \dfrac{3}{4}$.

Which means that $\displaystyle x + x + \dfrac{3}{4} = \dfrac{3}{2}$

Am I right from here?
