Rational equation
Hey, I have a question.

A company gives an annual salary of 250 000 $to the president and 35 000$ to the employees. Find the rule to the equation.

Let s(x) be the salary given to person x. Given just what you have written the "rule" is

"If x is the president, then s(x)= $250000. If x is not the president, then s(x)=$35000."

I have no idea why you would title this "rational equation" unless there is more information you have not told us.
