The matrix S represent the stock of 2 items in two stores. Matrix O represent the order that each store has placed for these items. Matrices S and O are shown below:

When the stores receive their shipments, which matrix represent their current stock?

a) 6 14 b) 196 8 c) 36 47 d) 10 16

I've multiplied SXO and I got matrix B but it doesn't seem right.

2. Boy, it's hard to see columns in your matrices. One way to line things up by using a fixed-width font is to wrap a matrix or table in the CODE tags (the icon # above the editor).

I assume the matrices are as follows.

I also assume that when the stores receive their shipments, the orders are added to their corresponding stock. I don't see the need for multiplication. Can you figure the answer?
