Thread: Rocket linear equation problem

Need help on this one also.

test rocket #1 launch speed is 600 m.s, and launched on the same flight path 12 seconds later @ a speed of 960 m.s, find t1 and t2 of the rockets until the 2nd rocket destroys the first rocket.

LINEAR PROBLEM, please help, thanks.

(rate)(time) = distance

600(t+12) = 960t
