I need to factor the following 91 + 24q +-27q^2.
First I rearranged to the standard formula giving +-27q^2 + 24q +91.
Both signs will be + in the binomials ( + )( + ).
The factors of 27 will be 9 and 3 the factors of 91 will be 13 and 7.
Now because with a we are adding a negative number we will get.
(9q + 14)(-3q + 7)
I have expanded through and got back to the original expression I just need confirmation that this is the right way to solve it.
