Can someone check my calculation please?

Question: (8x)^1/3 x x^3/4

My working: (8x)^1/3 x x^3/4

2x^1/3 x x^3/4

= 2x^13/12

Looks correct to me

Just a note, when doing maths in plain text is is better to use * for multiply rather than x because x can get confused with the variable x

For example 4*2 = 8

Prove It
This is nearly impossible to read because you're using x to represent both $x$ and $\times$.

I assume what you are writing is

$(8x)^{\frac{1}{3}}\times x^{\frac{3}{4}}$

$= 8^{\frac{1}{3}} \times x^{\frac{1}{3}} \times x^{\frac{3}{4}}$

$= 2x^{\frac{1}{3} + \frac{3}{4}}$

$= 2x^{\frac{4}{12} + \frac{9}{12}}$

$= 2x^{\frac{13}{12}}$.
