    How to solve this equation

    √(2x - 7) = √(5x - 17)

    I need help solving that equation, I keep getting "no solution" , but I am supposed to get a solution.

    square both sides

    assume this is \sqrt{2x-7} = \sqrt{5x-17}

    just square both sides and do the algrebra
