Thread: Did I work these equations out correctly?

1. 7(x+3) = -5(x+8) - 35
My answer: x = - 8

2. x+1 / 5 = x-4 / 9
My answer: x = -29/4

3. x+10 / 2 - x-3 / 7 = -2
My answer: x = -92/5

4. 6+3i / 5+2i
My answer: 43/5i

1. is correct.

2, 3, 4 are unreadable. Please learn some LaTeX or use brackets where they're needed.
