(4) / (x -5) - (1) / (5) = (-5) / (5x - 25)
I need help on how to solve that equation ^^^
thank you in advanced.
i think you wrote
$\displaystyle \displaystyle \frac {4}{x-5} - \frac {1}{5} = \frac {-5}{5x-25} $
$\displaystyle \displaystyle \frac {4}{x-5} - \frac {1}{5} = \frac {-5}{5(x-5)} $
so multiply all with 5(x-5)
$\displaystyle \displaystyle 20 - (x-5) = -5 $
$\displaystyle \displaystyle -x+25=-5 $
$\displaystyle \displaystyle x = 30 $
