    How to solve this equation:

    (4) / (x -5) - (1) / (5) = (-5) / (5x - 25)

    I need help on how to solve that equation ^^^

    i think you wrote

    \displaystyle  \frac {4}{x-5} - \frac {1}{5} = \frac {-5}{5x-25}

    \displaystyle  \frac {4}{x-5} - \frac {1}{5} = \frac {-5}{5(x-5)}

    so multiply all with 5(x-5)

    \displaystyle  20 - (x-5) = -5

    \displaystyle  -x+25=-5

     \displaystyle x = 30
