    exponential function domain!!

    Could somebody tell me what is the domain of this exponential function,please?
    y= 2^1/x
    I think it's R excluded 0 but I need to be sure.

    You are correct. the domain of a function is the set of all inputs (in this case, x-values) for which a function is defined. this function is defined for all x but 0, or as you said, dom(f) = {   x :  x \in \mathbb {R} ,  x \neq 0 }
