    Linear functions

    Determine whether increasing decreasing or constant
    f (x)=5x-2
    fx = -2x+8
    fx 3/4x - 4

    You might also want to learn some LaTex -- it makes reading the equations MUCH easier. I wasn't sure what you wrote, but I assume you mean these:
    f(x) = 5x - 2
    f(x) = -2x + 8
    f(x) = \frac{3}{4}x - 4

    To find out whether these functions are increasing, decreasing, or constant, check their slopes.
