    SImultaneous equations

    Can these simultaneous equations be solved?

    e+4f=1
    3d+2e+4f=1

    2 linear equations with 3 unknowns cannot be solved
    What you can do is express two variables in terms of one
    For instance
    f = \frac14 - \frac{e}{4}

    d = -\frac{e}{3}
